Kellogg Foundation works to improve the lives of vulnerable children and families, and transform education and learning so that all children get the support they need to lead independent, successful lives. The Kellogg Foundation’s investments focus on early childhood development (prenatal to age 8) leading to reading and math proficiency by third grade, high school graduation and pathways to meani
ngful employment. Working with local, state and national organizations, the foundation uses innovative, unconventional and effective strategies to engage communities in education and dismantle structural racism and other systemic barriers that limit opportunities for children.
