Our very own Rachel Kennedy gave us a weekend to be proud of.

Watching Rachel step onto the stage at the 2026 Miss Louisiana Volunteer Pageant was such a special moment—not just because of the outcome, but because we know everything that led her there. The early mornings, the preparation, the dedication, the nerves, the growth, and the countless hours she poured into becoming the best version of herself.

Rachel has shown what determination, grace, and a genuine passion for excellence look like. She carried herself with confidence and heart, and it was a privilege to watch her hard work shine.

We are beyond proud of Rachel and all that she represents. We can’t wait to see all the incredible things ahead for her. ❤️

Watching you grow throughout this journey has been such a joy. From where you started to where you are now, the confidence, strength, and grace you’ve gained have been so incredible to witness.

This year has challenged you, shaped you, and brought out so many parts of who you are. You’ve shown what it looks like to stay committed, keep pushing forward, and believe in yourself even when the road isn’t always easy.

There is something so special about watching someone discover just how capable they truly are.

This season, Angéle stepped outside of her comfort zone and embraced every opportunity with courage, grace, and determination. Pageantry isn’t just about what happens on stage, it’s about the confidence you build, the lessons you learn, and the resilience you gain along the way. We have watched Angéle grow in each of those areas, and we couldn’t be more proud.

Angéle, thank you for representing Miss Baton Rouge Teen Volunteer with kindness, integrity, and a willingness to learn. Your strength, resilience, and positive attitude have been an inspiration, and this experience is only the beginning of what we know will be an incredible journey.

Congratulations to our incredible Miss Bayou Volunteer, Chloe! 💙👑

Since being crowned in February, Chloe has poured her heart into representing the Miss Bayou Volunteer title. What so many people don’t see are the countless hours behind the scenes—the countless texts, the late-night phone calls, the planning, the preparation, and the unwavering dedication she’s given to this organization. Through every challenge and every opportunity, she has shown up with grace, determination, and a heart to serve.

This week at the state competition, Chloe represented Miss Bayou Volunteer with confidence, kindness, and professionalism. While the outcome wasn’t what we had hoped for, it does not define the incredible titleholder she has been. The impact she’s made, the work she’s put in, and the way she’s carried this title with integrity are what truly matter.

Chloe, thank you for every conversation, every early morning, every late night, every encouraging text, and every ounce of effort you’ve poured into this organization. It has been such a privilege to walk alongside you during this journey and watch you grow into an exceptional representative of Miss Bayou Volunteer.

You have made us proud every single day, not because of a placement, but because of the woman you are. Congratulations on a job exceptionally well done. We love you, we’re proud of you, and we’re so thankful for everything you’ve given to the Miss Bayou Volunteer family. 💙

Baton Rouge, we have so much to celebrate ❤️

Our very own Rachel Kennedy placed 1st Runner-Up at the 2026 Miss Louisiana Volunteer Pageant and was honored with the Evening Gown Award!

The annual competition was held July 30–August 1 at the Minden Civic Center in Minden, Louisiana, where contestants from across the state competed in interview, talent, physical fitness, and evening gown. Rachel stood out every step of the way, representing Baton Rouge with grace, confidence, and heart.

Her placement earned her a $10,000 scholarship to Bossier Parish Community College, along with a $250 scholarship for winning the Evening Gown Award—an incredible accomplishment and a testament to her hard work and dedication.

At just 20 years old, Rachel continues to make an impact through her platform, “Beyond the Label: Every Ability Matters,” advocating for inclusion and empowering others to embrace their unique abilities.

Watching Rachel grow this year has been such a special experience. She has poured so much into this journey, and it showed on that stage. We are beyond proud to call her ours and can’t wait to see all that she continues to accomplish. 💙
