Did you know? Our Lower School scholars begin each day day by reviewing phonograms, the basic building blocks of the English language. All Great Hearts Lower Schools teach a program called Spalding, a meticulously-detailed and multisensory approach that helps students connect sounds and letters to learn how to read, write, and spell 📝

We can't wait to share more about the Spalding program and resources to help you best support your scholar at home at Spalding and Singapore Night on September 3rd!

We are incredibly excited to continue to provide athletic opportunities for our Great Hearts Harveston scholars!

Athletics is about so much more than competition—it is an opportunity for students to develop discipline, perseverance, teamwork, leadership, and character. Through athletics, we hope to help each scholar grow not only as an athlete, but as a confident, responsible, and well-rounded person who strives for excellence both on and off the field.

It's been a wonderful second week of school at Great Hearts Harveston! The first-day jitters are fading, routines are becoming more familiar, and friendships are growing stronger. We are thankful for our incredible teachers, parents and guardians, and of course our scholars for making our academy so special!
