WIC Midcoast Maine MMCA WIC provides healthy foods, community resources, and breastfeeding support to families in the Midcoast.

MidCoast Maine Community Action(MMCA)'s Women, Infants, and Children(WIC) nutrition program provides low-income families in our community with nutritious food, community resources and referrals, and breastfeeding support. MMCA WIC provides services to pregnant women, post-partum women up until 6 months, breastfeeding women until their child's first birthday, and children under the age of five. Fam

ilies that qualify for SNAP, TANF, or Maine Care are considered automatically eligible for WIC. Income guidelines are available at www.maine.gov/wic WIC provides families with nutritious foods like Milk(or some milk substitutes), Eggs, Cheese, Peanut Butter, Beans, Whole Grain Items, Enriched Breakfast Cereal, 100% Juice, and Fruit and Vegetables. WIC also provides Infant Formula, Infant Fruits and Veggies, and Infant Cereal. A Peer Counselor is available to answer your breastfeeding questions. PLEASE ADVISE: BABY WIPE RECALL

On 06/09/2026, MMCA was notified via email that Up&Up Fragrance Free Baby Wipes are being VOLUNTARILY RECALLED by Target. If you've received these wipes from our Diaper Program in the last month (walk-in or at your WIC appointment), please discontinue use immediately. Stop by our 34 Wing Farm Parkway central office during business hours to exchange them for a difference brand.

The FREE Maternal Mobile Health clinic will be at the Belfast Soup Kitchen on Wednesday, April 8th from 9 AM to 2 PM. Get access to diapers, car seats, health screenings, and many other services though this great program from MMA Center for Quality Improvement, Maine DHHS, and Public Health Nursing.
