The Eva Martin Project

The Eva Martin Project Ensuring that children and families going through a difficult time do not feel alone. Families are rightfully concerned with the well-being of the child.

During emergency situations involving children, families generally don’t have time or don’t think to grab a child’s favorite stuffed animal or blanket. The Eva Martin Project is created to provide comfort and help soothe children and their families during their hospital stay. Through The Eva Martin Project, public donations of stuffed animals will be distributed to children’s hospitals to provide

just a little bit of comfort to children and families who find themselves in what may be the worst moments of their lives. The Eva Martin Project will ask public donors for both monetary and physical donations through fundraisers and donation drives. Monetary donations will be used for daily operation expenses and to purchase additional stuffed animals.

We recently took a trip to Mishawaka for a stuffy drop to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center where Eva and her brothers were born! This hit close to home as they brought us so much care and attention to all my personal medical needs! The fact that this faith-based organization gives back and tries to support their community with extra resources and will use these stuffies as part of their research made us all the more willing to help! 1040 stuffed animals 🧸 were added to their supplies to hopefully make someone’s difficult situation a little bright! Eva donated 1,600 stuffies and 318 blankets donated today to Bronson hospital where Eva was admitted 3 years ago for a drowning accident. After hours of not being able to see her, while the nurses and doctors worked tirelessly to do Pic lines and get her stable, we waited. A minute feels like hours and we felt so hopeless and when we finally saw our beautiful girl, her bed had 2 stuffies and a blanket donated by someone. And that moved us. We now give back to local hospitals thanks to donors and stuffy drives in our area. Thank you to all those who contributed and supported us these last 3 years. We have now surpassed 10,000 stuffies donated! We strive to make an Eva difference with our nonprofit!
