Hope everyone is enjoying the first day of summer break! ☀️😎

Looking back on last week, Fun Day 2026 was a huge success! From inflatables and outdoor games to kickball, chalk, bingo, a glow dance party, photo booth, snack station, and Snow Biz treats — the day was filled with nonstop fun, laughter, and memories our students will never forget.

A very special thank you to the amazing volunteers who helped make the day possible: Tara Stout, Joi Stout, Jennifer Readshaw, Megan Boender, Ashley Vanderwilt, Amy Kitzmann, Whitnie VanUtrecht, Acacia Morris, Mary Jo Hibler, Alicia Arkema, Kim Thompson, and the Jr. High/HS study hall students.
Your time and willingness to help created such a memorable experience for our kids, and we are so incredibly grateful for each of you!

A huge thank you to Snow Biz for your extraordinary generosity in providing every elementary and Jr. High/High School student with a free treat!

Thank you to Laser Alley & JP Rentals for supplying the inflatables and adding so much excitement to the day!

Thank you Whitnie VanUtrecht for the always amazing photo backdrop! Loved seeing all of the smiling faces in front of it!

As always this day would not be possible without our generous donors & fundraising efforts! We greatly appreciate everyone’s support!

To our teachers & paras — thank you for embracing the chaos, joining in on the fun, and helping make the day so special for the students.

And thank you, Mrs. G, for always supporting our ideas and jumping into everything we bring your way!

Most importantly, thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your child’s elementary memories. Fun Day 2026 was definitely one for the books!

Can't believe it's that time of year again- the school year flew by! We have such a fun day planned for the kiddos and we could use all of the help we can get! Consider signing up for a morning shift, afternoon or all day! Thank you for helping make this a memorable day!

Our end of the year fun day will be held on Thursday May 21! We could use all hands on deck to make it a fun & memborable day for the students and teachers! You can sign up for morning, afternoon, or all day! We appreciate all of the help! Cant wait for a fun way to end another awesome school year!....

We’re so grateful for the moms, stepmoms, grandmas, and all the mother figures who show up with love, care, and support day after day!

NM PACT is powered by moms who meet, plan, organize, fundraise, and always lead with the best intentions for our students and school community. Behind every event and initiative is an amazing group of parents and supporters who are always willing to jump in and help wherever needed.

There’s always room at our table, and we’d love for you to get involved with NM PACT! It’s a wonderful way to support North Mahaska Elementary, connect with other families, and make a positive impact for our young Warhawks. ❤️🖤

What a great week celebrating our teachers & staff! 🍎✨

Monday, we served breakfast. Thank you to Simple Supper Co. Take & Bake Meals for the delicious casseroles!

Tuesday, we served a taco bar! Thank you to The Longhorn and Jolene!

Wednesday, Central Church sponsored pizza. Thank you for your continued support!

Thursday, staff received room service complete with nostalgic 90s snacks and a dirty soda-Thank you Jess’ Sweet Treats!

Friday completed our week with a flower bar and The North Mahaska School Board brought in cookies and fruit — thank you!

We are so grateful for everyone that helped make this week extra special for our teachers & staff! ❤️🖤
