Today the Baraboo Lions Club had their first hearing tests screening session at a Baraboo Elementary School. We tested 30 3rd grade kids today.

The Baraboo Lions Club made an extra donation of $1,000 to the Baraboo Food Pantry! It will help provide food to hundreds of families and individuals in Baraboo and surrounding communities.

We were pleased to participate in the installation of a memorial bench at Haskins Park in West Baranboo. We partnered with the family of Del Kaney and the Village of West Baraboo to dedicate a tree and bench to the memory of Lion Del Kaney. Del had been a member of our club for decades and had been heavily involved in our eyeglass recycling program.

Del was a past president, and the only member in our history to receive both a Melvin Jones Fellowship (the highest honor in Lionism), and a Knight if Sight Fellowship (the highest honor from the Lions Eye Bank).
