🐾 A Stray Cat Needs Us Today 🐾

This sweet stray cat desperately needs our help.

We were alerted to a homeless cat with a horrific wound to his throat. As you can see from the photos, the injury is severe and appears to be an open wound around his neck. Despite everything he has endured, he is still eating and fighting to survive.

Thanks to our amazing supporters, Kathryn’s Precious Paw Rescue is stepping in to help him. He is being rushed to Alta Loma Animal Hospital right now for emergency medical care. We do not yet know the full extent of his injuries or what treatment he will need, but we know he cannot continue suffering like this.

Please keep this poor boy in your prayers as the veterinary team evaluates him. We are hoping and praying that his injuries can be treated and that he can finally know what it feels like to be safe, comfortable, and loved.

💔 He didn’t deserve this.
🙏 He deserves help.
❤️ He deserves a chance.

If you would like to help with his emergency veterinary expenses, donations can be sent through any of the following:

🐾🍗 Chicken Nugget Update! 🍗🐾

Look at these sweet babies now! 💕 Our little Chicken Nuggets are growing, thriving, and getting stronger every single day. It’s hard to believe how tiny and fragile they were when they first came into rescue. After losing their mama and facing such an uncertain start to life, these little ones have fought so hard, and they continue to amaze us every day.

We cannot thank all of you enough for your love, prayers, encouragement, and support. Every donation, every share, every kind word, and every prayer has helped these babies get where they are today. Watching them learn to walk, play, explore, and become little puppies has been such a blessing.

A very special thank you goes to their incredible foster and foster family. ❤️ These babies would not be here today without them. Bottle feeding around the clock, sleepless nights, endless laundry, constant monitoring, and pouring their hearts into every single puppy—it takes a very special person to do what they have done. They stepped up when these babies needed them most and have given them every chance to grow, heal, and thrive.

We know little Colonel is watching over his siblings from above, and we are so proud of how far Dave, Kane, and Wendy have come. 🌈🐾

Thank you all for being part of their journey. We can’t wait to continue sharing updates as these precious little nuggets grow bigger, stronger, and one day find the loving forever homes they deserve. ❤️

Today was a day filled with both joy and heartbreak.

Our sweet JAX went home with his forever family today, and while his foster is missing him already, she didn’t hesitate when another dog needed help. She opened her heart once again and pulled this tiny senior Chihuahua from the shelter.

This little boy is approximately 9 years old and weighs only 4.8 pounds.

What breaks our hearts is how incredibly frightened he is. He is beyond scared. He runs from people, avoids contact, and seems completely unsure if he can trust anyone. Whatever life has thrown at him, it has left him terrified.

As you’ll see in the video, we’re also very concerned about the way he is walking. He appears unsteady, and we’re worried there may be neurological issues that need immediate attention. Before we can move forward with the surgeries he desperately needs, we must have him evaluated by a veterinarian.

He is still intact. His teeth are in terrible condition and he will need a dental very soon. He desperately needs a bath, but right now his emotional well-being comes first. We’re giving him the time and space he needs to decompress, feel safe, and learn that he is finally somewhere he will be loved.

Tonight he has a soft bed, a full belly, and a foster who is willing to be patient while he learns to trust again.

We don’t know what his past looked like, but we know what we want his future to look like.

We want him to know kindness.
We want him to know safety.
We want him to know that someone will stay.

But we can’t do it alone.

Please consider donating toward his medical care. He needs a veterinary exam, diagnostic testing, bloodwork, vaccines, a neuter, and a much-needed dental procedure. Every dollar helps us give this precious little senior the second chance he deserves.

JAX FOUND HIS FOREVER HOME! ❤️🐾

Some adoptions just feel meant to be, and Jax’s is one of them.

From surviving the shelter to finding a family that already adores him, Jax’s journey has been nothing short of incredible. His new family made the long trip to meet him, and the moment finally arrived for this sweet boy to start the next chapter of his life.

The best part? Jax now has an older canine sister to show him the ropes and a family that is excited to spoil him with all the love, comfort, and adventures he deserves.

Watching rescue dogs leave for their forever homes is always bittersweet. We will miss his sweet face, goofy personality, and endless love, but our hearts are full knowing he is exactly where he belongs.

A huge thank you to his foster for believing in him, loving him, and helping him become the amazing dog he is today. Because of rescue, second chances happen.

Happy tails, sweet Jax. Go enjoy your new life, your new sister, and every wonderful moment ahead. We can’t wait to watch your happily-ever-after unfold. ❤️🐶🏡

With very heavy hearts, we have to share that little Colonel has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

When these four tiny orphaned puppies came into rescue at only 1½ to 2 weeks old after losing their mom, we knew the road ahead would be difficult. Despite around-the-clock bottle feedings, sleepless nights, endless love, and every effort possible, little Colonel was simply too fragile, and this morning, he gained his angel wings.

Our hearts are broken, but no one’s heart is hurting more than his incredible foster. We ask that you please keep her in your prayers. Bottle-feeding newborn puppies is one of the hardest jobs in rescue. It is exhausting, emotional, and heartbreaking when love alone isn’t enough to save them. We are so grateful for every moment she fought for Colonel and for the comfort, warmth, and love she gave him during his short life.

Please also keep Colonel’s three siblings—Dave, Wendy, and Kane—in your prayers as they continue to grow and fight. They still have a long road ahead of them.

Run free, sweet Colonel. You were loved beyond measure, and you mattered. Thank you for letting us be part of your journey, no matter how brief it was. 💔🐾🌈

🐾 Meet Korah! 🐾

Korah is a tiny 5-year-old Yorkshire Terrier weighing just 5 pounds, and she's ready to find the loving forever home she deserves.

This sweet little girl is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and puppy pad trained. She is still learning to potty outside and will need a patient family willing to continue helping her with her training. Because of her tiny size, Korah cannot safely go outside by herself and will need a family that can accompany and supervise her.

Korah can be a little skittish when meeting new people and needs some time to build trust, but once she feels safe, she is a loving companion. She would do best in a quieter home with older children or with someone who is retired and has the time and patience to help her blossom.

Korah's story is a heartbreaking one. She was found abandoned in some bushes, and because she still had milk in her ni***es, we believe she may have been used for breeding and then discarded when she was no longer wanted. Despite everything she has been through, Korah is ready to leave her past behind and start the next chapter of her life with a family who will cherish her forever.

If you think Korah might be the perfect addition to your family, please fill out an adoption application at www.kpprescue.com.

Let's help this precious little girl find the happy ending she deserves. ❤️

💔 Sometimes rescue begins with heartbreak.

Please welcome our newest babies to Kathryn’s Precious Paw Rescue: Colonel, Dave, Cane, and Wendy. 🐾❤️

These four tiny puppies are only about 1½ to 2 weeks old and have already faced more tragedy than any baby ever should.

Their mama, a sweet Toy Poodle, escaped her yard months ago and came home pregnant. She gave birth to these precious little ones, but sadly passed away shortly afterward. We don’t know exactly what happened, but these babies were left without the one thing they needed most—their mother.

Wanting to help, the family fed them human baby food, not realizing newborn puppies require specialized formula to survive. By the time they reached us, they were fragile and in desperate need of around-the-clock care.

Thankfully, one of our amazing, experienced bottle-feeding fosters didn’t hesitate when we called. Even with a full plate and countless responsibilities, she simply said, “Yes, I’ll help them.”

Every two hours, day and night, she is feeding four hungry babies, stimulating them, cleaning them, weighing them, and watching over them like a mother would. It is exhausting, emotional, and incredibly time-consuming work.

Right now, we are especially worried about little Colonel (named after Colonel Sanders from KFC). He is struggling the most and is having difficulty digesting his formula. We are watching him very closely and praying he starts to improve.

Please keep Colonel, Dave, Cane, and Wendy in your thoughts and prayers. These tiny babies are fighting for their lives, and every ounce gained, every feeding completed, and every day survived is a victory.

We would also love to shower our incredible foster with gratitude. Without people like her, orphaned puppies like these would have no chance.

As you can imagine, bottle babies require a lot of supplies—formula, bottles, puppy food, heating pads, blankets, and veterinary care. If you would like to help these little nuggets on their journey, donations are greatly appreciated.

For now, please send prayers, positive thoughts, and lots of love to these four tiny souls. They have a long road ahead, but they are safe, they are loved, and they are finally getting the chance they deserve.

Welcome to rescue, little nuggets. We are all rooting for you. ❤️
Please send up prayers tonight for our sweet little Colonel🙏🏻❤️🐾

🐾 Jax Has a Meet & Greet This Weekend! 🐾

Please keep your fingers crossed and send lots of positive thoughts for our sweet boy Jax! ❤️

Jax has come such a long way since his foster pulled him from Devore Shelter. When he first arrived, he needed someone to believe in him, and thankfully, his incredible foster did just that. She opened her heart and home to him, giving him the chance he so desperately deserved.

Over the past several months, Jax has blossomed into an affectionate, loyal, goofy, and loving companion. He is truly a love bug with a heart of gold. Watching his transformation has been nothing short of amazing, and we couldn’t be more proud of how far he has come.

This weekend, Jax will be meeting a potential forever family. We are hopeful they will see what we see—a very special dog who deserves a lifetime of love, comfort, adventures, and happiness.

As excited as we are for Jax, we know this is also an emotional time for his foster. Fostering is never easy, especially when you’ve invested so much love, time, patience, and dedication into helping a dog heal and thrive. We want to give a very special thank you to the woman who saved his life. Because of her, Jax got a second chance. Because of her, he learned to trust. Because of her, he knows what it feels like to be loved.

The countless hours, the care, the training, the encouragement, and the unconditional love she has given him have made all the difference. Everything Jax is today is a testament to her commitment and belief in him. While saying goodbye is never easy, she can take comfort in knowing that she changed his life forever.

Please join us in thanking Jax’s amazing foster and sending prayers that this meet and greet is the beginning of the happy ending he has been waiting for. No matter what happens, Jax is already a success story because someone chose to save him when he needed it most.

Good luck, sweet Jax. We are all rooting for you. ❤️🐾

🐾 Why Sharing Matters – From Kathryn’s Precious Paw Rescue 🐾

One of the easiest and most powerful ways you can help rescue animals is by simply sharing our posts.

Even if you’re not looking to adopt, someone on your friends list might be searching for their next best friend. Every share helps our dogs and cats reach new people, increasing their chances of finding loving forever homes.

Right now, rescues everywhere are overflowing with animals in need, while foster homes and resources are stretched thin. When one of our animals gets adopted, it opens up a space for us to save another life. Sometimes that one open spot can mean the difference between life and death for an animal waiting in a shelter.

Sharing only takes a few seconds, but it can have a life-changing impact. Your share helps our animals reach more communities, more families, and more opportunities to find the homes they deserve.

If you believe in rescue and want to make a difference, please take a moment to like, comment, and most importantly, share our posts. Together, we can help more animals find safety, love, and a second chance.

❤️ Thank you for supporting Kathryn’s Precious Paw Rescue.
🐾 The dogs and cats thank you, too. 🐾💕
