We are getting ready to lace up our boots again. Not to be heros, but to look into eyes most people pass by. We're going after the ones sitting on cold concrete, the ones fighting demons in broad daylight, and the ones who feel invisible in their own city. Because Jesus never walked past the broken. He saw them.
He saw the addict, the pr******te and the discarded. We are going for the addict who swore they would never be here again. For the mother who lost her kids and her will to fight. For the man talking to himself because silence is louder than the voices. We are going because we were once unseen.
Some of us chose drugs over our own blood. Some of us ran from God until we ran out of road. Some of us know what its like to be disposable. So on March 22nd we are going to war. War against shame, and lies that say too far gone. We are going were Jesus walks into the dirt, detox, and the relapse. Jesus isn't scared of the track marks, shocked by prison ink or intimidated by demons that bark loud in the dark. And neither are we. We're not bringing pity, we are bringing presence. We're not bringing judgement, we are bringing the hope that dragged us out of graves.
Seeing the Unseen, because we were once counted out, and He still counted us worth dying for.

March 22nd, at 1pm we will be meeting in the Bethel assembly of God parking lot.

Jesus,
You didn’t ask us if we saw You.
You told us where You would be.
You said You were hungry,
and we walked past with full hands.
You said You were thirsty,
and we explained why it wasn’t safe.
You said You were naked, sick, imprisoned—
and we told ourselves it wasn’t our calling.
Forgive us for the distance we baptized as wisdom.
Open our eyes to the truth You spoke plainly:
when we step over the broken,
we step over You.
Let us see You
in the man counting coins for a meal,
in the woman whose name has been replaced by a file number,
in the addict shaking through withdrawal
while heaven waits to see what we will do.
Jesus, You tied Your presence
to the least, the last, the forgotten.
So undo our excuses.
Undo our comfort.
Undo a faith that worships You on Sunday
and refuses to recognize You on the sidewalk.
Judge us gently—but wake us fully.
Let us see You while there is still time to respond.
