ROYAL EASTER MESSAGE TO THE PEOPLE OF AGBOWA-IKOSI
To all my beloved sons and daughters of Agbowa-Ikosi, our respected elders, the youths, women, and every indigene at home and in the diaspora, I bring you royal greetings from the palace as we mark this year’s Easter celebration.
This solemn and glorious season of Easter is a sacred reminder of the supreme sacrifice, humility, and victory of our Lord Jesus Christ, whose resurrection continues to give hope to mankind and assurance that after every trial, there is victory.
As a people, this season calls us to reflect deeply on the virtues of love, patience, sacrifice, and peaceful coexistence. These are values that must continue to guide us as one united community committed to progress, mutual respect, and the preservation of our heritage.
It is my earnest prayer that the grace that brought resurrection after suffering shall speak in every family in Agbowa-Ikosi. May God Almighty remove every burden troubling our homes, grant peace to our land, strengthen our youths for greater achievements, and bless the labour of our people with visible progress.
At a time like this, I also urge all sons and daughters of our kingdom to continue to uphold peace and harmony, for no meaningful development can thrive where unity is absent. Agbowa-Ikosi has a proud history, and it remains our collective duty to protect its dignity and contribute to its growth.
From the throne of our forefathers, I pray that divine mercy shall rest upon our town, that every household shall experience joy, and that this Easter shall usher in renewed hope, good health, and abundant blessings for us all.
May the Almighty continue to preserve Agbowa-Ikosi and bless every one of its people.
Happy Easter celebration to you all.
His Royal Majesty
Oba Barr. Saheed Owolabi Momson
