đź’ś To honor Chiari awareness month this September CBC will be hosting a monthly peer support Group starting Sept 10th 2026!

đź’ś Crazy by Chiari Support Group
đź“… Second Thursday of every month
⏰ 7:00 p.m – 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time
đź’» Virtual via Zoom

Our peer-led meetings provide a welcoming space for individuals, families, and caregivers navigating Chiari Malformation and its commonly related conditions.

Come as you are. Share as much—or as little—as you’re comfortable with.

Together, we can:

• Share experiences with people who understand
• Talk openly about everyday challenges
• Celebrate progress, milestones, and victories
• Find encouragement during difficult seasons
• Connect with others throughout the Chiari community
• Remind one another that none of us has to navigate this alone

Whether you’re newly diagnosed, years into your journey, supporting someone you love, or simply looking for people who understand—you are welcome.

Looking for a support group? Visit the Support Group page on the Crazy by Chiari website to see the current Chiari support groups and meeting information available throughout the month.

Community is bigger than any one organization. Our goal is to make sure patients know where support can be found. đź’ś

Chiari Malformation Fact 42

The position of the cerebellar tonsils alone does not determine whether someone will experience symptoms.

You can even have an abnormal flow study with no symptoms and a normal flow study and be very symptomatic. Each individuals case is different.
