Pete Pompey Foundation The Pete Pompey Foundation's goal is to give back to the community and help support the youth. Coach Pete, is a coaching legend in the Baltimore area.

A career that spanned over 30 years, Coach Pete was athletic director for Paul Laurence Dunbar High School (Baltimore) and Edmondson-Westside High School (Baltimore). During his coaching career Coach Pompey has won 4 Maryland Scholastic Association Championships in football and 5 MSA Championships in Basketball. Pete was named the Baltimore Ravens' 1999 High School Coach of the Year. To cement his

legacy as an educator of young men, his daughter Rhonda established the Pete Pompey Foundation.The foundation was established for friends of Pete Pompey to support these efforts which will culminate with a center named in his honor. The Pete Pompey Center will house resources to educate young men on things beyond the classroom including:
- College preparatory
- Basic life skills
- Financial literacy
- Healthy living
- Athletic Development

I know I have been away for a while. My motivation was not there. I miss my dad. But I know he would want me to complete whatever I started. So I am here now to say I am looking for his supporters. We have to continue his legacy giving back to the kids.

Our youth are on a downward spiral and it is up to us (The Community) to be there for them and help them and to give them a safe place to learn and grow.

I am forming a committee to discuss the needs of our youth and what programs we would need to implement into a recreation center. It has always been my goal to open a Life Skills Center in my Dad’s name.

So if anyone is interested in helping me reach this goal please respond below.
