Mentoring-Mentors Mentoring Mentors Inc. (MMI) is more than a nonprofit; it’s an opportunity for youth to redefine their futures.

Founded in 2014, we introduced the Intergenerational Near-to-Peer Mentoring Model in 2018, which provides empathy education and mentorship.

As we close out Women’s History Month, we want to take a moment to honor the incredible women who strengthen the heart of Mentoring Mentors.

Thank you Alexandra Porte, Andrena Davis, Candace Scroggins, Chanel Smith, Christal Friedman, Lillian Long, and Sandra Ugol for the excellence you bring to our mission every single day.

There’s an old saying that this is a man’s world—but we all know it would mean nothing without the extraordinary women who keep it grounded, moving, and in order.

Thank you for your leadership, your commitment, and your refusal to get comfortable. You are the superwomen who make this work possible.

early leads to mindset shift and those shifts become beliefs. let’s do this. help support this. help grow it.

If we teach young people good habits early, those habits grow into discipline—and that discipline becomes the lifelong behaviors that shape who they become. That’s the real work. Not shortcuts. Not quick fixes. Habits, discipline, and consistency.

And the proof is in their voices. Listen to what our young people are saying about what they’re learning, how they’re growing, and the skills they’re building. Their reflections remind us that when we invest in the fundamentals, we prepare them not just for the next grade, but for the next stage of life.

We don’t just run a summer program that ends when summer ends.
Our students stay with us — and if they choose to go on to college, our program goes with them.

Starting in 10th grade, students in our Leaders Summer Program can earn up to six college credits per year, with the potential to graduate high school holding 18 credits.

That matters.
Because it’s one thing to say you’re going to college…
It’s another thing to know you have the skills, habits, mindset, and confidence to succeed once you get there.

That’s what our program builds.
Not false confidence — real preparation. Real belief. Real opportunity.

So I’ll ask you this:
If you believe young people deserve access early…
If you believe summer should be more impactful than five weeks of free time…
If you believe exposure changes lives…

Then consider supporting this work.
Our students are ready. They just need the chance.

Confidence isn’t born — it’s built.
From quiet self-doubt to bold leadership, every step matters. At Mentoring Mentors Inc., we walk with youth as they learn to speak up, show up, and try again.

Because belief grows when someone believes in you first.
Because small wins build self-trust.
Because representation isn’t optional — it’s transformational.

Swipe through to see how confidence grows in action.
Let’s keep building leaders, one moment at a time. 💪🏾✨

without a plan are like asking for your dreams to be deferred. Every day we’re teaching our students how to build not just hosting activities that lead to no outcomes.
