Healthcare professionals continue to show up, serve, advocate, and save lives even in the most challenging conditions. G-DNA was proud to join wearfigs and healthcare advocates in amplifying conversations around fair pay, safer workplaces, mental health support for healthcare workers, and stronger protections for those who care for others every day. Advocacy matters. Supporting healthcare professionals matters. Healthy healthcare workers help build healthier communities.

Congratulations to our Director of Finance, Dr. Daniel Apau, formerly our Director of Education, for leading an impactful session at the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association (PCNA) Conference in Arizona. He led a workshop titled “Echo in Action: A Hands On Guide to Echocardiographic Imaging and Interpretation” for cardiovascular nurses and nurse practitioners. During the session, he demonstrated the power of portable technologies like the GE Vscan Air for point of care ultrasound and echocardiography.

These amazing devices can help detect cardiovascular disease in communities with limited resources where larger imaging equipment may not be accessible. The device was also used in G DNA’s Mama CVD project in Ghana to support early detection and improve cardiovascular care. 👏🏾🫀 ❤️
