Kern Water Collaborative The Kern Water Collaborative (KWC) is a nonprofit public benefit corporation created to maintain and improve the quality of life within Kern County.

KWC will provide free domestic well testing and free bottled water to qualified applicants.

Thank you to Elk Hills School District for inviting us to be part of this year’s Spring Festival and Classroom Showcase! Our team connected with community members and shared information about free nitrate well testing and bottled water delivery for homes outside of public water system boundaries. These services support the health and well-being of rural communities throughout the Kern Valley Floor.

We’re grateful for opportunities to create visibility for the program and provide safe, clean drinking water.

KWC provides free domestic well testing to help residents understand their water quality. If nitrate levels are above the drinking water standard, eligible households can receive free bottled water delivery services.
