Hi everyone 💛

My name is Vanessa, and I recently started Hands of Hope Kern, a small community-based project focused on helping families transitioning out of homelessness and into stable housing throughout Kern County.

Through my work in the community, I’ve seen how many families finally receive housing but still struggle to afford basic necessities like bedding, towels, diapers, hygiene items, household supplies, and safe sleeping arrangements for their children.

My goal is to help bridge that gap by connecting families with essential items and community support during such an important transition.

This project is just getting started, but I’m excited to see how our community can come together to support local families in need 💛
