Remember the sweet Great Pyrenees we pulled from the euthanasia list? She’s thriving now—and officially ready for adoption.

This gentle girl nearly lost her life over something as treatable as kennel cough. But thanks to the Tale Tribe (you know who you are), her story didn’t end there. You showed up, we stepped in, and her life was saved.

Beneath her matted coat and weary eyes was a truly beautiful soul. And with a few weeks of proper nutrition, stability in her foster home, and a much-needed groom, she’s transformed. Not just into a healthy dog—but into the radiant, loving girl she was always meant to be.

Our goofy Honey girl got adopted today! She was so excited that she grabbed her toy out of her adoption bag and played a round of tug-of-war with her amazing new mom. Adoptions are what make our work possible! ❤️

Frankie arrived at the shelter with one of the worst chemical burns we’ve ever seen — it had eaten all the way down to the bone. The shelter immediately reached out to us, and we didn’t hesitate.

As a nonprofit, our mission is to step in where the shelter system stops — to meet dogs like Frankie in that gap between “what can be done” and “what must be done.”

We rushed her to one of our most trusted vets, a gifted surgeon who carefully developed a plan to save her leg. Amputation was on the table, but we knew that if there was any hope, she deserved to keep all four legs.

He did an extraordinary job. Most of the wound has been closed, but there’s a portion of her leg that still needs daily bandage changes, wound care, and follow-ups. She’s healing beautifully and thriving in her foster home — but she’s not out of the woods yet.

We’ve only raised half of what we need to cover Frankie’s full recovery.
