The Westbrook Sports Group family asks that all SJVYFL families keep one of our Tulare Spartans families in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

On Friday, we unexpectedly lost one of our Tulare Spartans Junior Coaches. His family, friends, and siblings are facing an unimaginable loss of a son and older brother. Our Tulare Spartans program, along with the entire Westbrook Sports Group family, is mourning the loss of not only a dedicated coach, but a true mentor to our athletes — a young man who consistently gave back to his community and was passionate about guiding the next generation.

Curtis was taken far too soon, and his impact on our program and the lives he touched will never be forgotten.

📸🏈 Photographers Wanted – Partner with WSG Athletics! 📣

WSG Athletics is currently looking for a couple of talented photographers to partner with us for home games for our Bakersfield Hawks and Bakersfield Talons youth football and cheer programs this upcoming season.

We’re looking to connect with individuals who enjoy capturing the excitement of youth sports and can help showcase the incredible moments our athletes create on the field and sidelines.

If you are interested, please message us your information so we can set up a meeting and see if you would be a great fit for our organization.

📌 Important: Our league only allows badged program photographers on the sidelines, so we want to get ahead of the season and secure our photographers early.

The San Joaquin Valley Youth Football & Cheer League (SJVYFL) is proud to currently have 14 full youth football programs competing across the Valley — and we’re just getting started.

We’re expanding up the Hwy 99 corridor and beyond, building something bigger than a league.

Our league already includes:
