The Kern County Baby Expo is happening this Friday, August 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Beale Memorial Library!

Come meet local organizations—including Bakersfield Pregnancy Center—and discover valuable resources, support, and services for growing families.

We’ll have a booth with useful items and giveaways for moms, dads, and babies, so be sure to stop by and say hello! You can also meet local lactation consultants and doulas and connect with organizations ready to support you on your parenting journey.

La salud general de una mujer es para apoyar su salud reproductiva, y esto es cierto tanto si una mujer quiere ser madre algún día o no. Esto significa que las fluctuaciones de las hormonas de una mujer a lo largo de su ciclo son importantes para todas las mujeres. Para entender la sabiduría y la belleza de las hormonas femeninas, debemos reconocer que el ciclo de una mujer no es una maldición, es un regalo, uno sin el cual la población dejaría de existir.

A pesar de esto, el ciclo femenino a menudo tiene mala reputación. El cambio es parte de lo que son las mujeres, y esto puede ser frustrante para los hombres cuando no ven los ritmos más amplios. Así que nada de bromas sobre “es solo esa época del mes”. Tu pareja necesita que la apoyes en las fases de su ciclo que requieren descanso para mantenerse saludable.
