Friday night at the Grange did what Friday night at the Grange is supposed to do.

Music. Dancing. Friends. Conversation. A few brave souls working on new steps. A few others wisely pretending they meant to do that.

That’s the point.

Thanks to everyone who came out and helped make the room feel alive.

We’ll do it again next Friday.

Granges build community in all kinds of ways.

At Dow's Prairie Grange 505 in McKinleyville, that means game night. Dungeons & Dragons, tabletop roleplaying games, board games, card games, raffles, dinner, and a room full of people spending time together.

That is the value of a Grange hall. It gives a community a place to show up, bring the family, meet friends, and make new ones.

We love seeing Granges across California keep their halls active, useful, and welcoming.

Swing into summer with the Dancesteppers.

Join us for an afternoon of dancing, good music, and good company at the Fairfax Grange.

On Sunday, June 14, the Dancesteppers return with a mix of waltz, foxtrot, tango, rumba, and swing. Add in light snacks, friendly faces, and a Sunday afternoon crowd that actually knows how to enjoy itself, and you’ve got a pretty solid way to spend the day.
