Living & Leading with Purpose Conference speakers addressed a sold-out crowd of 300. A BIG THANK YOU to Doug Lennick, Richard Leider, Kris Petersen, Ruth Tongen, Chris Farrell, and our panel of leaders Kim Nelson, John Taft, Becky Roloff, and Justice Alan Page who shared much wisdom, research and their own personal purpose journeys. Highlights included:
• Effective leaders align their values, purpose and behaviors—Doug Lennick
• The last of human freedoms is to choose one’s attitude in a set of circumstances—to choose what we stand for, what we won’t stand for and who we stand with—Richard Leider
• Having purpose is critical to your health, happiness and longevity—Kris Petersen & Ruth Tongen
• Changes in the economy are encouraging experienced workers to use their skills longer at work and in the community—Chris Farrell
• Purpose can change over time. It’s a journey! But one must have it to and work wholeheartedly towards its accomplishment for personal fulfillment. —Panel of leaders
A BIG THANK YOU also to my partner Lori Syversen, Edina Mayor Jim Hovland and the staff at the Edina Chamber of Commerce.
