Huron County Recovery & Prevention Coalition The Huron County Recovery and Prevention Coalition meets every 2nd Thursday of the month at 10am, at Huron Behavioral Health in Bad Axe.

A group of diverse community members who share a common goal to promote awareness, educate, and increase understanding of substance use disorders while advocating to reduce stigma and increase pathways to recovery.

Did you know there's a FREE transportation resource available for people in recovery throughout Huron County?

Huron County Rides for Recovery helps remove transportation barriers so you can focus on what matters most—your recovery.

🛣️ Free rides are available for:
✅ Recovery meetings and events
✅ MAT appointments
✅ Substance use counseling appointments
✅ Drug court appointments
✅ Court review hearings
✅ Childcare providers
✅ Other important appointments and businesses that support your recovery journey

⛽ Additional assistance may include:
✔️ Gas reimbursement for rides to inpatient rehabilitation*
✔️ Assistance with SUD Drug Court fees (including Soberlink)*
*Funding dependent.

Please call Thumb Area Transit at least 24 hours in advance and mention "Rides for Recovery."
