All survivors deserve whatever amount of time it takes for them to decide whether they want to pursue justice. We hope that SA survivors victimized in NY utilize this opportunity should they decide it’s part of their healing journey. This last year changed so many lives, including our own. We hope that you’ll stay on the journey with us. Progress is slow and requires persistence, kind of like healing - and like healing, it’s necessary to look back and take stock of all the growth and change made as a result of this communities efforts. And like healing - It’s ok to slow down, observe, and pause when necessary. We know our work isn’t done yet, but we are also in a period of transition so don’t know what the future exactly holds for these efforts. No matter what does come, we will be ready.
