It's that time of year. The VFW scholarship program is kicking off. Voice of Democracy (VOD) for high school and Patriot Pen for 6th through 8th grades. The VOD prizes range from $100.00 to $35,000 dollars. The Patriot pen gets from $100.00 to $5,000.00 dollars. Applications were dropped off at each applicable ISD in Azle, Boyd and Springtown.

Do not mail the applications, bring them to the VFW Post 2137, 11875 HWY 730 North, Azle, Texas 76020 on Friday October 31st after 5PM.
