🚗🎶 Cruise Night is back!

The first Cruise Night of 2026 is officially in the books! Thank you to all of our guests, Rotary family, and community members who joined us for a great evening downtown.

We were especially excited to welcome the new Avenal Fire Department, who jumped right into the fun with a few friendly games of co****le. We also had a special appearance from everyone’s favorite OTD Son, OG Carnal!

Join us next Thursday at 12:00 PM at the Avenal Theater as we gather to watch the Copa Mundial Final together. We hope to see you there!

🌄 Today, members of the Avenal Rotary Club took a trip out to Parkfield to enjoy the Parkfield Café , visit the rodeo, and spend time with friends and guests from across the region.

It was a great day filled with good food, community, and conversation in one of California’s most unique small towns. We were happy to spend time together, support a local tradition, and enjoy the hospitality and atmosphere that make Parkfield such a special place. Thank you to everyone who joined us — we’re always grateful for the opportunity to connect, support local events, and enjoy the communities around us. 🤝🐂☀️

✈️ Avenal Rotary Club was proud to attend and support the 46th Central California Soaring Association Spring Contest held right here at the Avenal Sailplane Facility!

Pilots from across California and the Valley gathered in Avenal for several days of soaring competition and fellowship, with more than 24 glider entries taking to the skies during the event. The weather was beautiful, the views were incredible, and it was great seeing community members come out and experience this unique part of Avenal.

A special thank you to the Avenal Soaring Club for the invitation and hospitality, and to our very own Lupe Chavez for preparing a delicious tri-tip dinner for participants and guests. Events like these continue to showcase the unique opportunities and community spirit that make Avenal special.

✈️ ¡El Club Rotario de Avenal tuvo el gusto de asistir y apoyar el 46º Concurso de Primavera de la Central California Soaring Association, celebrado aquí mismo en las instalaciones de planeadores de Avenal!

Pilotos de distintas partes de California y del Valle se reunieron en Avenal para varios días de competencia y convivencia, con más de 24 planeadores participantes surcando los cielos. El clima estuvo excelente, las vistas fueron increíbles y fue un gusto ver a miembros de la comunidad disfrutar de esta experiencia única en Avenal.

Un agradecimiento especial al Club de Planeadores de Avenal por la invitación y hospitalidad, y a nuestro propio Lupe Chavez por preparar una deliciosa cena de tri-tip para los participantes e invitados. Eventos como este continúan demostrando las oportunidades únicas y el gran espíritu comunitario que hacen especial a Avenal.
