Come volunteer with us this weekend, April 18th, at the Social Justice Block Party! There are three shifts available and a few spots left.

Come volunteer with Social Justice Block Party!

Volunteers will help with set up and tear down before and after the block party promoting community engagement. They also need help with sidewalk painting, face painting, bounce house monitoring and miscellaneous tasks.

Austin!!! We had such a great time at our first volunteer event on March 10! We partnered with , a non-profit that provides meals and groceries to food-insecure children and their families in Central Texas.
Make new friends while giving back to our community at our “Pride for the Planet: Week of Service” event on Friday, April 24th. We’ll be partnering with for an Earth Day Clean-Up on the Anne & Roy Butler Trail.

We had a great turnout at G4G Austin’s Kickoff Event on February 12! Met some awesome friends and brainstormed new volunteer opportunities that we’ll be rolling out in 2026!

Description
On Tuesday evenings, a team of volunteers gathers in South Austin for the biggest volunteer event of the week. Together, we bag up fresh fruit and then we assembly line pack up all the dry good groceries for the weekend meals. It takes a lot of people, and it’s a lot of fun!

Purpose
Volunteers will help ensure children in Central Texas have consistent access to nutritious food during weekends and school breaks, directly supporting Hungry Souls’ mission to combat food insecurity and help children thrive in school and in life.
