Workers with the group spent part of the morning talking with riders near the bus stop and offering support, counseling resources and information to anyone affected by the incident.

Yesterday, I had the honor of tabling alongside the amazing Ashleey Sandoval at Rosewood Courts for National Night Out 2026. 🧡

Ashleey lost her son, Julian, at the tender age of 13 to gun violence. Out of unimaginable pain, Ashleey has turned her grief into purpose and created Julian Voice‼️🧡🕊

Through her platform, Ashleey does amazing work creating beautiful memorabilia to honor and keep the memories alive of loved ones who have been lost as well as hosting amazing events to bring awareness about gun violence. Her work is a beautiful reminder that although our loved ones may no longer be here physically, their memories and legacies can live on. 😇

Ashleey, you are truly amazing. Keep turning your pain into purpose, and keep shining for Julian. Julian lives through you. 🧡🕊️

Thank you for sharing space, purpose, and love with Mommy Space. We are honored to stand beside you and just know that you don’t have to grieve alone. 😇🕊🧡

🎉 National Night Out at Rosewood Courts was a SUCCESS! 🎉

Mommy Space had an amazing time connecting with our community and hanging out with some incredible community leaders, including ATX Peace, Amber Goodwin, and Hungry Hill; just to name a few‼️💙

A special thank you to the lovely Dominique Green with the Austin Housing Authority for doing such an amazing job hosting and bringing everyone together!

The Rosewood Courts community came out, engaged, connected, laughed, and had a great time. Moments like this remind us how important it is to show up, build relationships, and create stronger communities together. 🫶🏾

🌟 TODAY IS NATIONAL NIGHT OUT 🌟

Today is all about community, connection, and coming together to make our neighborhoods safer and stronger. ❤️

Mommy Space will be at the new Rosewood Courts celebrating with the community! We’re excited to connect with residents, meet families, share resources, and continue building relationships that make our community stronger.

Building relationships and supporting one another is an important part of creating safer communities for our children and families.

Come out, bring the family, meet your neighbors, and let’s continue working together to End Gun Violence. 🧡
