We focus on enabling seniors to participate in the communities where they live either on a temporary or permanent basis. SAIVA + Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple in Cedar Park Present: Intergenerational Summer Camp 2026! 🌞

We are excited to host to offer a unique Intergenerational Summer Camp where children and older adults come together to learn, connect, and grow.

In today’s fast-paced world, opportunities for meaningful interaction between generations are becoming rare.
Intergenerational programs help children develop empathy, respect, communication skills, and cultural awareness, while older adults experience greater purpose, connection, and joy.
Research shows that these relationships can strengthen communities and create lasting positive impacts for people of all ages.

Introducing FABRIC: A Month of Weaving Generations Together

This May, in honor of AANHPI Heritage Month, SAIVA is hosting seven free gatherings — across Austin and online — designed to bring our community closer together.

We named this initiative FABRIC because that's what community is: not a single thread, but the careful weaving of many. Every elder is a thread. Every volunteer is a thread. Every child is a thread. And when we gather intentionally, we make something stronger than any of us alone.
