We had a wonderful time today connecting with First Presbyterian Church in San Antonio!

Our Aging in Place presentation, led by SALSA (Sarah Davis) through the San Antonio Area Foundation, brought together incredible partners including Sprightly (Amy Roberts) and Enduring Home Solutions (Kendall Cox). Together, we shared practical tips and resources to help older adults continue living safely, comfortably, and independently in the homes they love.

It was inspiring to engage with congregants who were eager to learn how to โ€œlove where they live for life.โ€ Conversations like these remind us how important education, connection, and community partnerships are in supporting successful aging.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made today so meaningful!

Yesterday, we joined the San Antonio Area Foundation at SA Hope Center to kick-off the Impact Guild's Faith in Housing initiative to bring together the faith community, non-profit organizations and city leaders that can help support housing solutions and expand access to resources and education.

Faith communities can play a big role in this space. We feel honored to be part of the conversation and are thankful for being connected through SALSA and in collaboration with City of San Antonio San Antonio Area Foundation, LISC San Antonio, H. E. Butt Foundation, NALCAB, Opportunity Home San Antonio, and Strong Towns San Antonio.

As a smaller non profit in Central Texas it is an honor to be part of the meaningful collaboration between Association of Fundraising Professionals, Greater Austin Chapter, Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, and the Corporate Engagement Council. The insights shared by panelists from Halff (supporters of RTASA๐Ÿ’š), Experian, Q2 Software, and Junior Achievement USA of Central Texas were encouraging as we aim to bridge the gap between mission driven work and corporate alignment and investment back into the communities we serve. Thanks to the ECPR Texas moderator, Kristin Marcum for leading the conversation and a shoutout to Jayden Beatty, Executive Director of AFP Greater Austin, for helping make it happen.
