Help if you can!

✔️Thank you for helping us raise $69,000 toward our $100,000 Back to School Drive goal. We do believe the additional $31,000 is important to the success of the 800+ students in our 17 Learning Centers. So, we're extending the drive through Friday, August 7th to give this community five more days to help us cross the finish line. Please give at foundcom.org/btsd.

♥️We're asking that you take a few minutes today to consider if you can give at any capacity to support this effort. It would mean the world for our students. And, please consider sharing this message with your friends. Thank you!

Huge thank you to these Allies volunteer families (and those not pictured) for packing more than 7,300 POUNDS of cabbage and potatoes at Central Texas Food Bank last weekend!
That’s more than 6,100 meals that will be supporting our neighbors facing food insecurity. Y’all rock!! 🌟

We don’t have any volunteers signed up tonight, but in case your family was planning to go . . .

Due to an unexpected electrical issue, our performance tonight Saturday July 25th, is canceled.

Last night we called the show early, prior to intermission, while City officials evaluated the situation. While we’re incredibly disappointed, we’re thankful everyone remained safe.

As a nonprofit, every performance matters.

A canceled show doesn’t just mean a missed night of theater. It means lost donations, concessions, chair rentals, raffle sales, and other revenue that helps pay our talented cast and crew while keeping Austin’s Summer Musical free for everyone.

Our team is working closely with the City and doing everything possible to return to the hillside safely and as soon as possible. We remain hopeful we’ll be back with you soon and will share updates as we have them.

If the Summer Musical has ever been part of your family’s summer tradition, there are still ways you can help:

❤️ Make a donation by visiting zilker.org/donate
🥰 Become a member of the Friend of the Summer Musical for our 2027 season
🛍️ Buy our merch from our online store
📲 Share this post to help spread the word
🎟️ Buy raffle tickets when we return to the Hillside

Thank you for standing with ZTP. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.

Huge thank you to everyone who donated bags to Texas Advocacy Project's Handbags for Hope campaign last month!
Our offices were a collection spot this year and were proud to deliver 20 NEW purses, totes, backpacks, and diaper bags earlier this month.
We just received this email from TAP and wanted to share it with y'all. 💜

I am proud to announce that you collected more than 3,000 handbags, tote bags, diaper bags, and backpacks for Handbags & Backpacks for Hope this year! Those bags are now on their way to 47 shelters, clinics, and crisis centers across Texas. That means that more than 3,000 people will receive the information about TAP’s legal services and be able to start their journeys to safety and peace, to a life free from abuse. None of this would be possible without your support collecting bags in your community.
