Buy a sign for one last time!

We *thought* we were officially out of the sign business, but our lovely friends and neighbors asked for more rainbows. Luckily, the fine folks at Twin Cities Print are helping us with fulfillment, and our newly reordered yard signs should be in stock and ready to ship starting June 15. As always, 10% of our sales go to the ACLU of Minnesota (5%) and Transforming Families MN (5%). Order now at https://allarewelcomehere.us/. Happy Pride!

This is what COMMUNITY is all about!

I am often asked how I feel about groups of people in our communities. When people ask, it seems like they are looking for one of two things: for me to support people's rights, or to attack people they disagree with. Unfortunately, it seems like there is too much "tearing down" of other people. Most social issues in politics turn into battles over taking away someone's rights because someone else disagrees with them.

I'm not interested in that kind of politics. I'm not interested in letting our differences be used as a reason to take away anyone's human rights. I strongly believe that leaders in Minnesota should be protecting rights for everyone and guaranteeing equality for everyone in our state. Yes, we can disagree about social issues. Yes, we can hold our own opinions. But our freedoms do not give us the right to deny anyone else's humanity.

In June, as many Minnesotans celebrate Pride Month, I am reflecting on the equal rights guaranteed to all Minnesotans, and the never-ending work to protect our rights and equality. To learn more about supporting equality for our fellow Minnesotans, check out the Austin Human Rights Commission, or come to SuperFresh Gardens on Saturday to learn more about Austin MN Pride 🌈

What is it: a relaxed, welcoming space to connect and build community.

This is a low-pressure opportunity to:
👉 find out how you can support people in your community
👉 meet members of your local Pride Board
👉 learn how to get involved or volunteer
👉 make new connections
👉 or simply enjoy being in a safe, affirming space

Groups like Austin MN Pride are doing important, growing work to support inclusion and belonging in our region — and spaces like this help that work continue. Thank you for being an inspirational pillar of our community!

Happy Pride Month! 🌈 reminder as we head into this wonderful month that the commercial visibility of Pride over the past few years has often excluded the voices of those most marginalized. 💗
