Can someone explain these lines painted on the pavement? It may be hard to see, but why are some areas wider than the others? Also, in the second picture the space between the dotted line and orange line is 74 inches. My car (sedan) is 78 inches wide 🤨

📍 SHAMROCK AVE: • Feb 2-20: CLOSED between Bowling Green Dr & Hathaway Dr • Feb 16-27: CLOSED between Bowling Green Dr & Burnet Rd

📍 OHLEN ROAD: • Mar 2-13: Reduced to ONE LANE between Bowling Green Dr & Burnet Rd • Mar 9-27: Burnet Rd reduced to ONE LANE each direction at Ohlen intersection

Due to the weather, this has been postponed to February 5th

Join APD Police Chief Lisa Davis, Mayor Pro Tem Chito Vela, Councilwoman Vanessa Fuentes, and Councilman José Velásquez for a conversation on the Austin Police Department's policies that impact our immigrant community.
