💧 Clean Water for La and Her Children 💧

La is a mother of three living in a rural village in Savannakhet Province, Laos.

For years, her family drank untreated well water. Sometimes it had an unpleasant smell, but there was little choice. Stomach aches, diarrhea, and stomach problems happened so often that the family thought they were simply a normal part of life.

Then La’s family received a TerraClear water filter. 💙

Today, they put their water through the filter and have clear, clean drinking water right in their own home. La says her family has been amazed—and so grateful—that since using the filter, their stomach problems have greatly decreased.

For this mother of three, clean water means so much more than water.

It means better health. Fewer stomach aches. And peace of mind knowing the water her children drink each day is clean and safe.

This is what clean water can do.
One filter. One family. Lives changed. 💧🇱🇦

Built to Last!

Five years later—and the filters are still providing clean water!

This spring, our TerraKids team returned to 36 rural schools where TerraClear filters were installed in 2020 and 2021. We were thrilled to find that almost every school was still using its filter every day.

At Nong Khae Village School, children no longer need to bring water from home, the school no longer buys drinking water, and teachers are still reinforcing the hygiene lessons they learned years ago.

A few filters needed new parts, which our team replaced—and they were back in service.

Clean water. Healthy habits. Five years and counting!

Clean water is only the beginning.

At TerraClear, every family also receives caring, practical training on safe water, hygiene, and healthy habits that help keep children healthy and families strong.

When clean water is paired with knowledge, lives are transformed—one family at a time.

Thank you for making this life-changing work possible. 💙

🚤 Across the Mekong: Bringing Hope to Children in Laos 💙

Recently, the TerraKids team traveled through the "4,000 Islands" region of southern Laos, where many schools can only be reached by boat. Carrying water filters, school supplies, and teaching materials, the team journeyed from island to island bringing clean water, hygiene education, and child protection lessons to children in remote communities.

Over several weeks, TerraKids reached 1,326 students in 16 schools and donated 45 ceramic water filters to provide safe drinking water for students and teachers.

The children learned about handwashing, health, personal safety, and child rights. Through puppet shows, songs, games, and skits, they also heard an important message:

💙 You are important.
💙 You are special.
💙 You are smart.

The work was challenging. The all-women TerraKids team traveled long hours by truck and boat, carried supplies in tropical heat, and taught in schools with very limited resources. Yet everywhere they went, they found eager students, dedicated teachers, and families committed to giving their children a brighter future.

Some children in this region cross the Mekong River by boat every day just to attend school.

Thank you to everyone who supports TerraClear and TerraKids. Together, we are bringing clean water, education, protection, and hope to children across rural Laos.

Every day, I receive photos from rural families in Laos who have just received a water filter—made possible by generous donors who believe in clean water for all.

Today, this smile stopped me. 💛
Her joy says everything. Clean, safe drinking water—right in her own home.

No more worrying. No more sickness from unsafe water. Just hope, health, and a brighter future.

I’m so grateful to share this moment with you—and I’d love to invite you to be part of it.
For $75, you can sponsor a family and provide not just a filter, but training and lasting change.

Clean water changes everything. 💧
