Twenty years ago, Michelle Dippel’s life changed forever with the death of her husband, Daniel. She found her way forward through determination, grit, and signature can-do attitude—but not alone. She has spent nearly two decades ensuring that those who walk this path after her have access to the community, resources, and support they need to rebuild their lives.

Michelle has been a mentor, a friend, and a fierce advocate for Soaring Spirits International from the very beginning. As a founding board member, past board chair, current board secretary, and an annual major donor, her dedication has shaped the organization into what it is today—changing lives for widowed people worldwide.

This year, Michelle will be presented with the Soaring Spirits Founder's Award at the Hope Takes Flight Gala, recognizing her profound impact. If you know Michelle, you know this honor reflects the authenticity, courage, and resilience she brings to every aspect of her life.

Join us in celebrating Michelle and the incredible legacy she continues to build.
