Congratulations to Lisa Franz on being elected Vice President of the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA) for the 2026-2027 term.

Franz is the General Manager and Co-Founder of Big Valley Auto Auction in Donna, Texas, which she and her family launched in 2008. Prior to her auction career, she owned and operated businesses in ski rentals, hospitality, and property development. A graduate of Auction Academy Class 5, Franz is dedicated to the wholesale auto auction industry, and she has served on the NAAA Board of Directors, Western Chapter Board of Directors, and the Independent Auction Group Executive Board.

In addition to her contributions to NAAA and IAG, Franz has been a passionate advocate for the NAAA Warren Young, Sr. Scholastic Foundation. Through her leadership, Big Valley has contributed more than $20,000 to the Foundation over the past two years, supporting its mission to invest in the future of the industry through scholarships and to assist auction employees facing unexpected financial hardships!

As vice president, Franz will serve on NAAA’s Executive Committee and begins a four-year leadership progression which will lead to serving as NAAA President-Elect for 2027-2028, NAAA President for the 2028-2029 term, and NAAA Chair of the Board for the 2029-2030 term.
