Good morning Austin. Of course, it's Friday and I hope you are in the best of health and spirit. I did a commentary on
this space over 2 months ago dedicated to one of our greatest African writers - Chinua Achebe. The piece was
Titled "Things Fall Apart."

How quickly things fall apart. In retrospect, the November
election and it results forced many of us to question ourselves. The reality today is the nation elected an individual who clearly belongs in the Out House not the
White House. The Supreme Court enabled this nightmare
to occur.

Nothing resembles remotely what has occurred in these
United States of America. A vengeful, hateful and disturbed
individuals has destroyed one of the best economies in the
world and imposed anguish on so many people. As promised he has turned the United States into his own
weapon for vengeance and people are still responding like
we have all the time in the world.

I meet and greet so many wonderful and fantastic people
from communities, states and nations from around the
world and they represent cultures , racial and ethic groups
that depicts a profile of the world.

Obviously, this is not for me to understand, but I can comprehend that more people hopefully now will understand that racism is a sickness and abnormality that
this nation and world must condemn on every aspect of
our existence.

Unfortunately, this evil that so many endorsed and embraced must experience the consequences of what
we released upon this world. Hopefully, we will survive
and remember that all of our actions have consequences
and we must bear responsibility.
