ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot

09/08/2026

On a beautiful sunny day this past January, we were proud to present the largest check in ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot history to Caritas of Austin — $615,000!

That’s $615,000 doing immediate good for neighbors experiencing homelessness in Austin. This amount helped:
• 50 families of four move into safe, stable housing
• Provide one month’s rent for 450 families and individuals
• Fund 99,000 lunches through Caritas of Austin’s Community Kitchen
• And it will also support Cairn Point Cameron, Caritas’ supportive housing community opening this year, providing 150 studio apartments for adults 55+.
To our 26,000 runners and walkers and the sponsors who made this possible, thank you. We look forward to trying to top this amount next year, and we can do it if you trot with us!
