Meet the visionaries helping bring Shadows in Silk to life Eclipse Event Co.

Leading the charge are Lauren Chumbley and Kristi Depew, Owners of Eclipse Event Co. Together, they bring decades of combined experience, a deep love for the Austin events community, and a shared commitment to creating immersive and unforgettable experiences.
From concept to ex*****on, their work is grounded in their three pillars: Honesty, Creativity, and Resourcefulness.

Lauren Chumbley, CMEP
UT Austin graduate, industry leader, Bravo historian, and self-proclaimed spreadsheet enthusiast. With nearly 20 years in the events industry, Lauren is passionate about designing experiences that are as enjoyable to plan as they are to attend. She’s also deeply involved in the Austin events community through leadership with ILEA and volunteer work with the Junior League of Austin.

Kristi Depew, CWEP
Born and raised in Austin, Kristi’s event journey began at Texas Tech University and grew through roles with Elite Weddings and Premiere Events before earning her CWEP certification. With a background in rentals and design, she brings a sharp eye for detail, trend-forward thinking, and a strong focus on ex*****on. Outside of events, Kristi is a devoted mom of three and has held multiple leadership roles across AWPA and NACE Austin.

Together, Lauren and Kristi blend strategy, design, and hands-on experience to craft events that feel seamless, elevated, and deeply intentional and we’re thrilled to have them shaping Shadows in Silk.
