When school lets out, hunger doesn’t take a summer break.

Beginning June 1 and all summer long, we are working together with community partners throughout Central Texas to help provide meals for children ages 1-18.

Simply show up to any listed site for a prepared meal; or if you live in a rural area, look for our locations where you can get a box for each child containing a 10 day supply of meals. No ID or registration is required.

This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

The Healing Project is excited to announce a new partnership with Amazon through the Amazon Local Good Program, launching in June 2026, to help strengthen resource distribution across Central Texas.

Through this partnership, The Healing Project will have access to transportation support to help move essential items to community partners and distribution sites more efficiently.

This partnership will help us continue expanding access to resources for marginalized communities across Austin and Central Texas while strengthening collaborations with community organizations and partners.

We are grateful for this opportunity and excited about what this means for the future of resource navigation, food access, and community support.

The Healing Project ATX is excited to share a new opportunity for seniors in our community through a partnership with Central Texas Food Bank.

This home food delivery program is intended to support adults ages 55 and older living in Travis, Williamson, Bastrop, and Hays Counties who may have difficulty accessing food due to transportation limitations, mobility concerns, disabilities, or other barriers.

Eligible participants may receive monthly deliveries of nutritious food items, including fresh produce and shelf-stable groceries, delivered directly to their home. Services may continue for up to one year or until the participant chooses to stop receiving deliveries.

In collaboration with Amazon, deliveries will be made directly to participants’ homes in a reliable and contactless manner at no cost to the household. All deliveries are scheduled on Thursdays during either the first, second, or fourth week of the month, depending on the assigned delivery route.

To participate, individuals must:
• Be 55 years of age or older
• Live in Travis, Williamson, Bastrop, or Hays County
• Have a valid home address
• Have a working phone number for delivery communication and updates
• Meet low-income eligibility guidelines, including households at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level or currently receiving qualifying government assistance

Qualifying programs may include:
• SNAP
• TANF
• Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
• Medicaid
• Medicare
• WIC
• CHIP
• Healthy Texas Women
• Social Security Benefits
• Veterans Benefits
• National School Lunch Program

The Healing Project will assist community members with eligibility screening, referrals, and enrollment support to help seniors access consistent food assistance and reduce barriers to healthy food access.
