Mac Band Boosters A parent-run 501(c)(3) organization supporting the McCallum High School Band program in Austin, Texas.

MAC Band Boosters coordinate volunteer activities throughout the year and raise supplemental funds for contests, trips, and other band activities. The MAC Band Booster Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and donations are tax deductible.

We had a great response to the McCallum Band March fundraiser. Each $10 donation received an entry in our raffle for 2 nights at the Hyatt Centric Waikiki in Hawaii!

Oh my Mac Band Groupies... Mardi Grazie was amazing! Even though we had to postpone a week everyone showed up and just shined!

The music from our awesome students led by the amazing directors... 🤩

All the wonderful donated raffle and live auction items... 🤩

Our very own Mac Band Alumni Emmcees were on fire... 🤩

All the volunteers from family members and color guard kicking butt to make the night run smoothly... 🤩

And our groupies (seeing if that name sticks for y'all, time will tell!) showing up and supporting our full band program - event sponsors, raffle ticket buyers, paddles up participants and just being there for support... 🤩

We had an amazing and historic evening for Mardi Grazie and we had lofty goals to support the band! ⭐ Thank you for showing up! For anyone who maybe wanted but didn't get a chance to participate we will send out something in the next few days... We did awesome last night but have a little more to the goal so the opportunities will be there for those interested.

Now who is sending out those invites for the private concerts they won? We are watching the inbox for an invite 😉

So there are a few hours left to pre-purchase your raffle tickets and also get the sign-up done for your Shield's up number.. until 11pm tonight (Sunday) and then we will reopen the purchases on-site Tuesday...

You can be the envy of all! Also, your student could enjoy the RTIC cooler for band competitions or the lunch bag for daily use... Something to consider!!

Remember, Madi Grazie is now in the MAC theater, doors open at 5, Steel Drums performs at 5:30 and then the main stage event starts at 6:30!

So our Mardi Grazie was delayed... but here is another awesome way to support the band! And you can share this since it is fully online!

Consider ordering your Valentines candy from See's Candy while supporting the band! This storefront is only available until the the end of the month.

All funds are to support the band, supporting the students with scholarships to participate in events and everything else band related. Our current focus is the once in a lifetime opportunity for them to perform at Carnegie Hall in June 2026.

Mardi Grazie Update!

Due to the inclement weather and closure of AISD facilities on Jan 27th, Mardi Grazie has been reschedule one week later on Feb 3rd. The event will also be moved to the MAC Theater on the McCallum High School campus (5600 Sunshine).

Raffle pre-purchase has been extended until Feb 1 at 11pm with all the pre-purchase perks!

We are in the count down for Mardi Grazie 2026, just 2 days to go! And at the time of this posting just a little more than 4 hours left in raffle ticket pre-sales! Tickets can always be purchased at the door when you pick-up your bidder number but pre-purchasing has it's perks!

How about some local business and Austin fun! We have several packages that will take you around town, some are from our very own band families! Whether it’s something new to try, you are looking for a new salon, enjoy a regular dining spot or some of our Austin museums and gardens there is a raffle package for you! A full breakdown of the packages will be posted on Sunday (need to keep your attention a little longer 😉 ) but know there is a package or two we are sure you want to take a chance or here!

Anyone who buys tickets prior to the pre purchase window closing on Sunday at 11pm will be entered to win a one night stay at the A Loft downtown Ft Worth, including breakfast for two. All you need to do is buy some raffle tickets to be entered!
