You don't have to be a veteran to urge our government to do the right thing.

Congress should fund veterans' benefits by honoring its commitments—not by reducing earned disability compensation.

Disability ratings should be based on medical evidence and the expertise of healthcare professionals, not political budget negotiations. Veterans' disability compensation is an earned obligation to those who served, not a funding source for new initiatives.

The VFW is urging every veteran, family member, and supporter to make their voice heard. It only takes a minute to contact Congress through the VFW Action Alert and tell them to remove the disability compensation offset provisions from the Take Care of America's Veterans Act.
