Reminder: The Perseid Meteor Shower peaks August 12–13, 2025, and it's traditionally one of the best shows in the night sky.

(N.B. - Although there is an expected frequency of 50-75 meteors per hour, the gibbous moon’s brightness will likely reduce the number of visible meteors.)

This awe-inspiring event is perfect for a late summer night of stargazing with kids. Just grab a blanket, head outside after 11 and before dawn (perfect reason to get the kids up late/early), lie back and look up!
