Don’t sleep on the fact that it’s late season …. Other than your maybe you really won’t sleep much because that alarm clock goes off early these days 😅

But this is arguably some of the best hunting! Most hens should be nesting and there’s still some old birds out there willing to make the moves.

Maine’s one of the longer seasons in the country, don’t skip out on some turkey dinners this season 🙌🏻🦃🌲

Youth days in Maine kick off today! 🦃👏

Carter Heath Kevin Antonovitch Emilie Cram Candace Sabol Tenley Skolfield

Attendance was free, and NWTF memberships were donated to the 38 people who registered. Chapter volunteers prepared their own bear, deer, moose and wild turkey recipes for attendees to try, and Cadace Sabol, a popular wild game chef, shared some of her recipes.

What a tremendous turn out! 🎉
We can’t say anything other than THANK YOU to everyone that came out last night for our first Northern Pine Limbhangers get together!!
There was great energy, a variety of conversations, and a grand slam of wild game dishes to fill everyone’s bellies!! 🫎🐻🦌🦃

Special thanks to for sharing her insight and passion for cooking wild game! Turkeys are newer to Maine and she’s here for it - to make the most incredible recipes from them! 🦃
