Saturday SES: May Madness Highlights:

6th Grade Lady La’Sha Legends trailed by 10 points in the final 2 minutes of the game but fought hard and went on an 8 point run.

5th Grade Lady La’Sha Legends controlled the second half our scoring the Pistons 8-3

Today the 6th grade Lady Legends face off with number 1 seed Carolina Queens at 9:55am to make it to the Championship and 5th Grade Lady Legends awaits their component in the 2pm Championship.

Lady La’Sha Legends (L3) In Control In Victory Over Carolina Buckets

Lady La’Sha Legends (L3) was in control the entire time on Saturday versus Carolina Buckets. Lady La’Sha Legends (L3) never trailed in their 37-2 victory.

Kariis L scored 12 points to lead Lady La’Sha Legends (L3).

Leading 6-2, Lady La’Sha Legends (L3) went on a 31-point run to pull further away. Lady La’Sha Legends (L3) got out to a 24-2 lead at halftime before closing out the victory.

Kariis poured in 10 points in the first half as Lady La’Sha Legends (L3) outscored Carolina Buckets 24-2.

Lady La’Sha Legends (L3) passed the ball well with 11 assists on 18 made baskets. Additional scorers for Lady La’Sha Legends (L3) included Mae D (10 points), Kaleigh R (6 points), Valor B (5 points), Caroline B (2 points), and Ela G (2 points).

Lady La’Sha Legends (L3) narrowly defeated Lexington hoopsters, 13-10, on Sunday.

Lady La’Sha Legends (L3) trailed 9-2 at halftime before coming back for the victory. Trailing 9-2, Lady La’Sha Legends (L3) went on a 9-point run to take the lead.

Lady La’Sha Legends (L3) played particularly well in the second half, outscoring Lexington hoopsters 11-1.

Kaleigh R was the leading scorer for Lady La’Sha Legends (L3) with seven points. Miah D pounded the glass, collecting nine rebounds to lead Lady La’Sha Legends (L3). Kariis L (3 points) and Valor B (2 points) helped out Lady La’Sha Legends (L3) as well.
