We had a great turnout for yesterday's Live Stake Workshop! Thanks to Jordan and John from DEP Nonpoint Source Training Center and Kennebec Soil and Water Conservation District for partnering with WLA for this informative training. We had some hands on lessons to learn all about live staking and how we can improve our shoreline to reduce runoff and protect Togus Pond. Check out our buffer page on the website to learn more about live staking. https://www.toguspond.org/buffers

It's happening, the second Alum treatment is finally here during Earth Week! The team from SOLitude arrived Monday and will be out on the water each day. You'll see their barge as well as Tristan from Lake Stewards of Maine on the lake. Lots of moving parts for this to take place. Thanks to all the volunteers that are also helping out this week monitoring the shorelines each day!
