Meet Danny Carter, Danny is from Warrenton Ga. He was born on October 3, 1957. He is 66 years old. His dreams as a kid was to be a football player. Growing up he had 3 Brother and 2 sisters. His favorite thing is being in nature and Gods Creations. Sadly he is the only one left of his family. He’s been homeless in Augusta for 7 years now. When talking with Danny I asked for some advice he’d like to share. He wanted to share this “Walking through the valley of the shadow of death” meaning fear will not conquer you, even when your path takes you through the darkest of darkness. He also says to always believe in God. He wanted me to understand that you should NEVER give up and keep moving. For God is always on time. His favorite bible verse is Philippines 4:13 which states I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Danny. Their passion, resilience, and unwavering dedication to their cause ignited a fire within me. Their kindness, wisdom, and genuine care for others inspired me to strive for greatness and make a positive impact in the world. Since that encounter, I’ve been fueled by their example, guiding my actions with their spirit of compassion and determination. - Layton J Nirk.
