Many people are surprised to learn that kittens can become pregnant as early as 4 months old. Even though they still look like babies, female cats can reach sexual maturity very quickly - and pregnancies at such a young age can be dangerous for both mom and kittens.

That’s why veterinarians strongly support “Fix by Four” - spaying and neutering kittens by 4 months of age. Early spay/neuter is safe, helps kittens live healthier lives, and prevents accidental litters before the cycle of overpopulation begins. 🐾

On this quiet Sunday, a nursing mama cat reminds us what unconditional care looks like—giving everything she has so her babies can grow, thrive, and feel safe.

But love shouldn’t come at the cost of endless litters and exhaustion. The kindest thing we can do for her—and for all cats—is to break the cycle. Spay and neuter isn’t just prevention… it’s compassion in action. 🐾

Rabies vaccine clinic at All God's Creatures Saturday 4/25/26.

Cat parents you can request the cheaper (canine) rabies vaccine, however the Purevax feline rabies vaccine is formulated differently and has not been linked to vaccine related sarcomas like the others (1/2 ml instead of a full ml). Vaccine clinics tend to not carry the Purevax rabies vaccine because of the increase cost.
