The SCSU Garnet and Blue Extravaganza was not complete without the Greater Augusta Alumni Chapter! An evening in denim- timeless, tailored, and effortlessly refined- just like our SC State University!

Thanks to our generous donors and alumni, we were able to meet our $1.4 million goal! We ♥️ our SC State!

The members of the Greater Augusta Chapter of the SCSU National Alumni Association are excited to wish Ms. Eliza Cave a Happy 100th Birthday today! She is a 1951 graduate of SCSU. On May 8, 2026, Ms. Cave will celebrate her 75th Class Reunion with her classmates! Mrs. Cave taught at Jefferson High School, LBC High School, and Midland Valley High School, touching the lives of hundreds of students. May God continue to bless you Ms. Cave!!! ❤❤❤

The Greater Augusta Bulldogs will always rally to her call! Our chapter was blessed to sponsor a bus to Columbia, SC to witness our beloved SC State’s flag fly above the state house!

A time was had by all and the inspiring messages shared from everyone on the program will stay with us for the days and years to come! Hail hail, dear Alma mater, hail hail dear SCC! We’ll defend and honor, love and cherish thee! ♥️💙

The GAAC was well represented at the SCSUNAA Convention in Charlotte, NC! A time was certainly had by all but the icing on the cake was watching our very own Michael Summers be elected as the National First Vice President! Congratulations to our GAAC Bulldog! ♥️💙💙♥️💙♥️💙

We’ve been out and about, spreading the good news about our illustrious alma mater!

March 22: Chapter representatives attended the Greater Augusta HBCU 2025 College Fair at Good Shepard Baptist Church.

March 25: The GAAC were in attendance to send off a group of students from Lucy C. Laney High School as they embarked on a day trip to tour our alma mater! This trip was sponsored by the Lucy C. Laney High School Alumni Association. Our chapter also prepared snack bags for the trip!
