Transportation to Overnight Warming Shelters

During shelter activations, Augusta Transit will provide complimentary transportation to designated overnight warming shelters:
• Monday–Saturday: 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Sundays & Holidays: 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

To arrange transportation, call 706-821-1719 before 8:00 p.m.

Pick-Up Locations
• Broad Street Transfer Facility – 1546 Broad Street
• May Park Community Center – 622 4th Street

Drop-Off Locations
• Augusta Rescue Mission – 526 Walker Street (check-in times vary)
• Salvation Army Center of Hope – 1384 Greene Street (check-in times vary)
• Alternate Location: May Park Community Center (check-in 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)

Daytime warming center locations are available at augustaga.gov. Residents may also use Augusta Transit’s normal routes during standard operating hours.
