As a privately funded nonprofit institution, The Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History relies on the generosity of its friends and supporters to meet the enormous cost of providing quality programs and services, year-round, to thousands of local, national and international visitors. As we honor this important day of freedom, reflection, and celebration of African American history and culture, we encourage everyone to take time to learn, remember, and celebrate the significance of Juneteenth.
